- Pink Mopy (Address/Map) is owned and run by an Irish and Dutch couple, George born in Dublin, Ireland. He has a electrical/technical & photograhic background and Lloyd born in Rotterdam, Holland, has a banking administration experience. The Idea to open Pink Mopy came in 2005 and after some research work and planning the bar was opened officially on the 12th May 2006. The bar is an old building in the heart of Torrevieja, Costa Blanca. its a two storey building with an open terrace on the the top floor and a room and kitchen on the first floor. Both, Lloyd and George, work in the bar and run the kitchen. Lloyd brings his natural charm and plesant manner to provide clients with a memorable visit. "Cocinero" George produces delicious snacks. The name "Pink Mopy" was choosen because it was originally going to be called "Pink Panter" and then panter was changed for "Mopy" (mopie) which means Sweetheart in Dutch! The bar was totally designed and decorated by George & Lloyd and continues to develop. We are planning to open a small gallery space on the first floor, this will be open for exhibitions, (art/photo etc) and available to customers.
