Description
Pitshanger Community Association works for the benefit of the Pitshanger area. Pitshanger is a community of about 3,000 households located within the London Borough of Ealing. The Pitshanger area already has a lot going for it - a lovely park, an excellent range of local shops and restaurants on Pitshanger Lane and great community spirit. The PCA aims to foster and improve on all of this, and more.
So what does the PCA actually do? We run two major community events each year, Party In The Park and Light Up The Lane. These events have the twin objectives of bringing the local community together and raising funds for PCA community projects and local charities.
Pitshanger Park has been the focus of recent PCA projects. Working with Ealing Council Parks and Countryside Department, we have provided improved play apparatus, a set of picnic tables and new gates at the park entrance. We have also made donations to a number of local charities including Meadow House Hospice.
