USE OF FORCE/POLICE SHOOTINGS May 21, 2010 0800-1200 Arizona Law Enforcement Academy Phoenix, Arizona This 1/2 day course covers what officers can expect when they are involved in a use of force incident. Students will learn the course of events following a use of force incident, and options available to officers involved. The instructors have over 50 years of law enforcement experience as officers and supervisors, and are also current or former police legal advisors. As attorneys they have been involved as legal advisors, prosecutors and defense attorneys for officers involved in use of force events. This course offers a great deal of insight into this rarely experienced situation in a peace officers career.
81 REASONS FOR INVESTIGATING OUTLAW MOTORCYCLE GANGS

PLETCO is proud to announce that they have partnered with Billy Long to bring his newest seminar, 81 Reasons For Investigating Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs, to Arizona law enforcement. Long is a renowned undercover expert and much requested law enforcement presenter. In this dynamic presentation, Long teaches methods for investigating and documenting outlaw motorcycle gangs. Students will learn how to develop and maintain sources close to "club members", methods to identify and document membership in an outlaw motorcycle club, and how to operate in an undercover capacity in and around outlaw motorcycle club members to develop criminal intelligence. Long will also include an overview and debriefing of a long term undercover investigation in which he became a member of an outlaw motorcycle gang.
