Title
Alpacas: Pacific Northwest Alpaca Association
Description
The Pacific Northwest Alpaca Association (PNAA) was organized in 1994 by alpaca owners and breeders in central and eastern Washington, northern Idaho and northeastern Oregon. The purpose of the alpaca association is to provide information to the public on alpacas, to promote the awareness and appreciation of alpacas, and to promote the growth of the alpaca industry.
The alpaca association (PNAA) has members' meeting 5 to 6 times each year. The meetings are held on a member's alapaca farm or at a central location. People interested in learning about alpacas are invited to attend these meetings. The schedule, location and agenda for the meetings are included on the 'events' page.
The alpaca association (PNAA) sponsors the Northwest Alpaca Showcase in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. The Showcase has been moved to the last weekend in April. The Showcase brings together breeders from all around the northwest and includes a halter show, a fleece show and farm booths with alpacas and alpaca information. For more information on the Showcase go to www.alpacashowcase.org.
