Description
There is nothing like crafting an art doll of polymer clay with your own hands that can bring forth a smile and brighten not only the artist's day, but someone else's as well. I have always enjoyed most forms of arts and crafts. Creating polymer clay art doll is not only fun for me, but that fun is intensified when I can see that joy reflected on the face of another person.
Each soft-bodied polymer clay art doll is an original. Molds are not used and clothing is designed and sewn by the artist. Each polymer art dolls' eyes are either hand-painted, acrylic or glass. High quality mohair is used for each clay doll, ranging from silky to ethnic and is hand placed (glued) and styled to suit each personality.
Each dolls' facial expression, body language, and reactions, are taken from life's daily inspirations that I see every day. As the polymer clay art doll comes to life, the excitement is rekindled as that mental snapshot is transformed into a doll.
