All the Information You've Been Looking for but Just Couldn't Find
AboutUs is a worldwide effort to create a guide to websites and businesses that builds on the knowledge of every visitor.
And best of all? We're all about Real People, so you know who's is saying what about whom. Because 'information' just isn't good enough - we're all about credible information and real knowledge.
Do you want to say something about your business, your website, or your blog? Create an account and start editing. You can work on your personal page, and share your website's story on its domain page. So for example, if your website is myweb.com, your doaminpage on AboutUs would be AboutUs.org/MyWeb.com. For easy access to your page, just type the url (myweb.com) into the search bar on top of the page.
Do you have something to say about a blog or business? Or really about any website at all? That's what AboutUs is all about. Just log-in or create an account, and your set to go. Type in the website's url in the search-bar at the top of the page, and start editing the page!
We are big wiki enthusiasts and love introducing the technology to people who haven't used it yet. We're glad you're here and invite you to learn, join our community and help us shape the site.
What You Can Do
Wiki
One of the most fundamental things you can do here at AboutUs is to update information on any domain (website) that you know about or have. Search for a URL above in our Find! bar to go to its domain page.
What next, you may ask? You can create a great page about yourself and link it, as a social networking tool that you fully control, to others that you know or pages that you care about.
One of the most exciting things about wiki is that you can do things we have never imagined doing. So be creative, constructive and collaborative with AboutUs.
What We Do
We are building a wiki resource on the internet that we hope will complement other great web resources such as Google and Wikipedia. We work to merge commercial with informational by helping people organize the information that is important to them.
