What did you do to celebrate Earth Day in 2007? Please enter your experiences, thoughts and activities below:
- I created this portal as a starting point for a communal "barn raising" on this important day. I'm also planning on taking a hike this Earth Day (as I do most years for Earth Day) and picking up litter along the trail, but also just as a way of communing and meditating on the phenomenal world around me. -- TakKendrick
- Had very good Indian food for lunch (India-4-U, not much here in Portland, especially compared to SE Michigan). The cool thing was that I got the food in a biodegradable container, my first known exposure to these corn base products. The company supplying this food server is TrellisEarth.com. -- MarkDilley
- I took a short bike ride in preparation for a long ride, that I am honestly not prepared for. It was wonderful to be outside doing my body good, enjoying fresh air and knowing that I was not putting anything noxious into the environment. Kasey
- My mother died April 22 several years ago. I was surprised to walk out of Whole Foods and see a sign that it is also Earth Day. Spiritually I think that helps me feel that she still hovers around me. Carole
