Description
Excerpted from the website:
- This year’s production of Merry Wives of Windsor will offer young audience members the chance to be performers in the show they see. One of the highlights of the show is the children of Windsor, disguised as fairies, frolicking, teasing and taunting the incorrigible Falstaff. At 2pm (an hour before show time), several audience members in grades 1-8 can join permanent cast members, who will lead them in the important role of “pinching”, “poking” and taunting the greedy and foolish Falstaff. Simple fairy costumes (such as Elizabethan country children might have worn) will be provided in various sizes, and the scene will also include elements of music, movement and poetry.
