- Hello! I'm Rex Vandermeer, owner and founder of POWER PROGRAMS. My wife and I live in Spring, Texas; near Houston. We have three grown children and three grandchildren. I began my career in a parts department at a full service dealership in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1974. I served as Parts Manager for 15 years. I started computer programming as a sideline fascination and it wasn't long before I began to tweak our ADP computer at the dealership. I had soon developed a program to enhance SOR, which evolved into KSOR, then later wrote the first version of Review Stock Order. I quickly realized that there was a need for the work I was doing at countless other dealerships, and the concept for POWER PROGRAMS was born!
