WJPG and WJPH is owned and operated by Maranatha Ministries / Joy Communications, Inc, a New Jersey Non-profit corporation, with headquarters in Woodbine, NJ. We are committed to strengthening the family and assisting the local church with Bible teaching and instruction and uplifting Christian music, one of the means is with radio broadcasting.
From 1996 until July 1998, we purchased air-time on WJNN 106.7FM for "Unshackled", "Stories of Great Christians" and for the "Sharathon". In May 1997, we filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for a new non-commercial FM radio station at 88.1 MHz.
After many years of prayer, on March 2004, the FCC granted us a construction permit with transmitter in Cape May Court House, NJ. All in God’s perfect timing. WJPG 88.1 FM, which stands for Just Praise God, went on the air May 11, 2004. God is truly amazing!
