- VAL DI NON : The World of Canyons
History, traditions and local products, such as the famous apples, and a perfect place for skiing and all other winter sports facilites. Churches, castles and beautiful lakes amid a breathtaking mountain landscape, a perfect place for recreational and relaxing holidays. Valle di Non is situated in the north west of Trentino and the river Noce crosses it. This large area of Trentino has a particular morphological conformation: a succession of three tablelands separated by deep gorges and ravines with waterways flowing through them. The surrounding mountains, such as the Maddalene chain, the Brenta Group, Roen and Peller, give an alpine "touch" to the panorama of the valley. Valle di Tovel, branching off Valle di Non, deeply penetrates the Brenta Dolomite Group and lies within the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park. Lago di Tovel, one of the most beautiful and charming lakes in Trentino, lies in an enchanting position at the end of the valley. On account of its special rock formations, the Valle di Non has recently become know as Valley of Canyons; visiting the area means you can see and enjoy to the full the fascinating combination of nature and culture mad avaiable to guests. There are many visible traces of the valley´s history as the many castles, palazzos, mansions, frescoed houses and holy buildings. Among the latter, the ancient sanctuary of San Romedio is well worth a visit.

Chiese, castelli e stupendi laghi all´interno di magnifici paesaggi montani, luoghi ideali per una vacanza in tutta tranquillità, a misura d´uomo. Una vacanza alla scoperta della valle più grande del Trentino Alto Adige. Questo altipiano è caratterizzato da spazi infiniti dove si trovano verdi boschi, anfratti, luoghi nascosti ed innumerevoli canyons che si ramificano come arterie dal lago di Santa Giustina. I campi coltivati a meleto sono anche una caratteristica del paesaggio e diventano un vero e proprio spettacolo nel periodo della fioritura. Le montagne che circondano la valle, la Catena delle Maddalene, il Gruppo del Brenta, il Roen ed il Peller contribuiscono a darle un «tocco» alpino. Dalla Valle di Non si dirama la Valle di Tovel, che penetra profondamente nel Gruppo delle Dolomiti di Brenta ed è ricompresa nel territorio del Parco naturale Adamello-Brenta: nella Valle di Tovel si trova l´omonimo lago, uno dei più belli del Trentino per la sua incantevole posizione.
