I started PRO Eldercare in 1992 in Highland Park, Illinois after directing a similar program for 7 years. I experienced first hand, the enormous need for quality home care for elderly, and the importance of our work. It is extremely gratifying to help the elderly and their families in their time of need.
Over the years I have placed the most wonderful caregivers with my very finicky but satisfied clients. In screening our aides, I look for caregivers who are not only experienced and skilled but also have outstanding integrity and a loving attitude. They must have both head and heart. They must be respectful, kind, intelligent and very, very patient -- and that describes the typical PRO Eldercare caregiver. Every case is supervised and adjusted when necessary to the needs of our clients.
I am proud to say that we are referred by a great many Chicago and Suburban hospitals and Social Service agencies. Because our agency is small, we can respond quickly and provide each client with personalized service -- no red tape, no delays. We care, we listen, we fix .
