Note: Temporarily all external links on AboutUs.org are "no follow". In response to recent severe performance issues on AboutUs.org we made the tough decision to suspend several features, including the NoFollow/ProFollow distinction, to keep the site running until we are able to get additional servers up and running later this month.
In the meantime we will still push the "ProFollow" button on any pages per the guidelines below, and as soon as soon as site is stable with the new servers all pages that have ever had this button pushed will have followed links... so let us know the page and we'll put your ProFollow link love on a short back order so to speak. We apologize for the inconvenience and we can't wait to continue loving links.

In our effort to grow a valuable guide to websites, we want to give link love to good sites with good AboutUs pages.

At the same time, we want to withhold it from "bad actors" such as parking lots, adult sites, scams, etc. (This is why we decided to default to NoFollow.)

To nominate a website's AboutUs page for "ProFollow", please:

Confirm that the website you would like to ProFollow is a "good actor" on the web
Edit and build a great domain page for the site here at AboutUs (we want to reward good content) by editing it with the suggestions and instructions on our How to improve AboutUs pages page.
- Note that a summary, unique (non-excerpted) description, contact info, and tags are required for ProFollow (and an image is highly encouraged). Instructions and more suggestions can be found here.
