Description

Excerpted from the website:

Professional Consultants International, LLC. (PCI) is a privately owned company which will enter the international market to produce and distribute quality biodiesel fuel by American Standard for Testing and Measurement (ASTM) guidelines. PCI will manufacture, blend, wholesale, and retail biodiesel and associated byproducts. PCI’s first plant will be strategically located in Grenada, Mississippi on the main north south railroad and major interstate system between the Gulf Coast and all major distribution points to the Eastern seaboard. PCI will initially manufacture biodiesel made from RBD soybean oil. This soy biodiesel will enable PCI to penetrate deeply into the southeastern markets using an already proven biodiesel manufacturing system in the European, Canadian, and United States markets. This plant will produce seven million gallons of biodiesel and seven hundred thousand gallons of glycerin annually. This plant will be converted to use algal oil after its first year of operation which is a non-food source of oil. PCI will be one of the first plants to employ the production of oil from algae for conversion to biodiesel. PCI will use leading edge technology in the use of solar energy and carbon dioxide in a vertical green house process to produce high oil content algae. This conversion will allow PCI to move away from competing markets for food grade and limited supplies of RBD soybean oil thereby avoiding the coming competition between energy production and food production. The plant will be self contained from raw material to end product. Published production capacity figures for algal oil yields a conservative 35 to 1 per acre advantage for algal oil over soybean oil with a concomitant cost advantage for algal oil. PCI’s second plant will be located in the Panama Canal Free Zone and will service the shipping industry which is transiting the Panama Canal and will be available for distribution worldwide. This plant is anticipated to produce sixty million gallons of biodiesel and four million two hundred thousand gallons of glycerin annually. The initial source of raw material for this plant will be from existing palm oil sources throughout Central America. The management of the purchase of raw materials and distribution of the biodiesel as well as blended petrodiesel and (D2) diesel will be through a fuel concession license from the government of Panama. PCI plans to purchase and operate a minimum of fifteen thousand hectares of land within either Panama or Costa Rica or both to ensure cost control and adequate supply of raw materials to support the Panama plant annually. Additionally, crushing plants of adequate capacity will be a key element in locating the land and its current use; i.e. palm plantation. Over the following two years, after purchase, the land will be systematically converted to a Jatropha curcas tree plantation. Again, our strategy will be to avoid the competition and criticism between food production and energy production, which is already being raised in the European Union (EU) and the United States (US).
