About Profisys
Profisys was conceived in early 1999 and was recognized as a Limited Liability Company in July of that year by the Texas Secretary of State. The company became a Registered Investment Advisor on September 28, 1999. In 2005, the firm merged with Talis Advisory Services, LLC. Talis Advisory Services, LLC is a Registered Investment Advisor and operates according to the same investment philosophy and fee-only compensation structure that was developed by Profisys. Brent Everett, who founded Profisys, is the Chief Investment Officer of Talis Advisory Services, LLC.

Profisys began as a simple outgrowth of requests from friends and family members for assistance with their investments. It was apparent that the choices that were available to most investors were very limited. Most investors chose brokerage firms and few could meet the minimum investment level required by most Registered Investment Advisors. Unbiased professional advice was unavailable for most people. That, unfortunately, is still the case today.
