PureTrails New Zealand is a small travel tour company owned by our family and operated by Sue Weller and her daughter Hilary. Being a kiwi mother & daughter team, we are able to give you a personable and genuine experience on your New Zealand holiday. Our motivation comes from meeting lovely people from all over the world, and having the opportunity to guide you on a journey of discovery to some of the most beautiful places in the South Island, and on the most incredible walks that we have carefully chosen.
After retiring from a long career as a registered nurse, Sue [pictured with husband John] was looking for a new challenge and decided that guiding people around the beautiful South Island of New Zealand would be a perfect way to enjoy her passion of hiking and the outdoors, and would provide the opportunity to share New Zealand’s best kept secrets with small groups of like-minded people… hence PureTrails New Zealand was established!
Sue is a passionate hiker and in addition to hiking extensively in New Zealand, has also enjoyed hiking in Nepal, France, Spain and Italy over the years. Sue also enjoys mountain biking, golf, and gardening.
