- My name is Donna Martin and I am the founder of Purely Southwest. Growing up in the Southwest, I was lucky to be surrounded by beautiful Navajo weavings and pottery, it was everywhere! However once I started to decorate my own home, I quickly realized the authentic Native American weavings and pottery for the most part were out of my price range. Looking for alternatives, I found many replicas of the Navajo style, but the weavings were loose and the quality of the yarn was poor. My search finally paid off when I found someone who imported quality weavings that were affordable.
