Q fund | Home
Description
The "Q" fund was founded by Chellie Kew in 2000 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing sustainable support for children in sub-Saharan Africa (backgrounder.)
"These children thirst for knowledge and we should do everything we can to satisfy that thirst". Letter from volunteers at Chimoza school.
In July 2005, the "Q" fund purchased an organic banana plantation – a sustainable, environmentally friendly way for the community to earn the money needed to continue to care for their children without reliance on 'charity.'
