Quarry Marina, Lake Norfork's marina closest to the dam, is operated by the Richard Hanson family. The Hanson family, formerly of Memphis, enhances Quarry Marina's facility and the services offered annually. Richard and Cheri are at the marina between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., seven days a week during the busy season, often receiving help from their three children. They purchased the marina in June of 1997.
They love boating, so they offer boating and skiing enthusiasts on Lake Norfork the finest in equipment sales and rentals -- O'Brien equipment and apparel. O'Brien wake boards and slalom skis are always available at Quarry.
Richard has been coming to Lake Norfork to vacation since he was a child. Since he is comfortable around the water, he helps customers with their selection of life jackets, ski ropes, inner tubes and all kinds of skis, from learner's to slalom.
