Description
Delivery of the Hockey Canada Skills Academy Program at Quesnel Secondary School. The Academy Skills program is a licensed program from Hockey Canada delivered in partnership through the Quesnel School District, Quesnel and District Minor Hockey Association, and the Quesnel Hockey Academy.
Implementation and operation of an acceleration skating program delivered primarily in the off-season through the use of a state of the art skating treadmill and related strength development machines and techniques.
Philosophy
The Quesnel Hockey Academy has three specific areas of emphasis, but one primary philosophy: we want to make available to all skating athletes in the Interior of BC the opportunity to become a better player and develop better skills so that the game of hockey can be enjoyed at any level.
