Ben Epstein from the Max Levine Ensemble pointed something out to me recently. Most people measure the actual FUN part of summer as the period of time in between Memorial Day and Labor Day. At least in the United States. This summer, Memorial Day fell as early in the calendar as possible and Labor day as late in the calendar as possible. Thus, we have MAXIMUM SUMMER.
