The alternative is to use products from the companies who manufacture them. The brands are not so well known, but the products are usually excellent. Some of these specialist companies are based in the Far East and others are in Europe. Although the cost can be higher, many players feel that the quality of the European products is better.
This is how Racquet Technic was started. The initial products were a range of strings. These were tested and used by local players. The next stage was to sell the products on a national basis. Although many players prefer to stay with familiar brands, others are willing to try something new. The result is that an increasing number of players are now using the brands.
