Thank you for your interest in Rainbow Resource Center. Our family business started in 1989 as a used book service, with the goal of helping homeschooling families stretch their budgets for school materials while providing worthwhile products. As we made the transition to sell new products, we maintained our philosophy of offering quality educational materials at discount prices.
We trust that you will find our website informative and helpful. While some suppliers offer websites that are more colorful, we have concentrated on providing informative descriptions of the products that we offer so that you may make an intelligent decision about which ones will work best for you. A main reason for starting this business was to share information that we had gleaned from our homeschooling experience, which started in 1986. In that time, our family members have used, evaluated, or read about thousands of products. We now offer over 31,000 items which we believe are the best educational products available. You will notice that many reviews were written by our children, and many of the reviews that Linda and I have written mention personal experiences our family has had with a product. This year you may also notice that we have broadened the range of reviewers writing descriptions. We have found this necessary in order to give you helpful information about the many good educational products that we keep finding.
