Sport Sunglasses with Interchangeable Lenses
Founded in 2005, Rapid Eyewear actually started life as 'Model Glasses', because the first range of eyewear produced by the company was specifically for those who fly radio controlled model aircraft. All of the Model Glasses range featured then, as they do now, interchangeable lenses for different light conditions. Another feature of Rapid Eyewear sunglasses from the start was the inclusion of a prescription option.
Since then, the company has gone through many changes as it has become more successful. Most notably, fishing, aviation and golf sunglasses have been added to the company portfolio; as with the Model Glasses, Rapid Eyewear have decided to use sub-brands to identify their products. The fishing sunglasses are called 'Catch', the golf are called 'Scratch' golf sunglasses and the aviation are labelled 'Mile High'.
In July 2008, the company changed its status to limited and is now called C&M Rapid Ltd, although they continue to trade as Rapid Eyewear.
C&M Rapid Ltd have distributors worldwide, and their products are sold by many outlets in the UK, including Asda online.
The Rapid Eyewear family of sunglasses includes: Model Glasses, Catch Fishing, Scratch Golf and Mile High sunglasses for pilots.
