Description
The purpose of this church is to unite believers to fellowship for spiritual edification, for bringing people to faith in Christ as Savior and Lord, and for propagating the Gospel through Home and World missions according to the teaching and practice of the New Testament.
Our immediate mission is to initiate and nurture a relationship with each person under our church's influence. It is our intent to bring people to Christ and nurture their relationship with Him and with other believers in the fellowship of our church.
We desire that all ministries of Ravenswood Evangelical Covenant Church contribute to the fulfillment of our immediate mission. This includes: Worship that glorifies God; Christian education that emphasizes the Scriptures significance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through God's Holy Spirit; Communion with other believers, both in worship and community; Outreach that shares the Gospel with unbelievers, and individual service as gifted by the Spirit and directed by the church.
