The cottages and bed and breakfast rooms are all situated around a south facing courtyard with seating areas where guests can enjoy a quiet drink, read the newspaper or just appreciate the peace and quiet. There are also several grassed areas and garden available to guests.
The village of Cropton is four miles away and has a country pub serving food. The nearest village is Newton-upon-Rawcliffe about a mile away, which also has a village pub and a play area with swings, climbing equipment and an astro-turf pitch for football, basketball or tennis.
