- In November of 2003, my wife, Rhonda, and I felt the Lord prompting us to step down from the youth ministry at Resurrection Life in Muskegon. This decision was very serious for us since we believed that we were called to the ministry and would spend the rest of our lives serving God in this capacity. To know that God wants you to leave where you’re at when you don’t know where your going was going to be a leap of faith. It also gave us a great understanding of Abraham and his faith that he had in leaving his homeland. We decided long ago that we would be obedient to God regardless of our understanding and so we stepped down from the youth ministry.
