Due to the proliferation of the internet and the many real estate web sites, the Real Estate Pros organization was formed in 1997 to give the consumer accurate, and unbiased information concerning their everyday lifestyles. Naturally we started with what we thought was the most important aspect of a consumer's life, and that is the purchase or sale of a home. We have heard too many horror stories regarding the mistakes consumers have made in choosing a real estate agent, home builder, or mortgage company just because they found them on the internet. Many consumers think if an individual or company has a web site, then they must be professional and run a legitimate organization. THAT'S NOT ALWAYS THE CASE!
Instead of doing product reviews, much like the magazine "Consumer Reports", we do people reviews. Our staff checks each directory listing we receive for authenticity, making sure in fact that the person or company are who they say, and have an established business record. We check the references they have provided, and in some cases of unfamiliarity, will also verify other sources to back up our data. This service is provided at no cost to the consumer. Not only will you save time and aggravation by using our service, but you will feel comfortable in knowing that whomever you decide to do business with on this site, you will have made a good choice.
Beginning in 2003, Real Estate Pros will be conducting random consumer satisfaction surveys. Once a consumer contacts one of our members, we will monitor the progression of the services being offered, from the intial contact phase, to the final close of the business transaction. By conducting these surveys, we want to guarantee the consumer that they are being treated in the utmost professional matter by our members.
