Description
Ministering: We minister to people's needs for healing through Redeemed Lives (RL), Alive Again (AA), and Returning Sons (RS) programs. Currently, there are five RL programs and dozens of AA and RS programs operating worldwide. These programs last for twenty-six weeks and provide a safe place where God's children can receive healing for a variety of life-controlling afflictions, including sexual and relational brokenness. Our weekend conferences run from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon and are offered about six times annually in churches throughout the USA and Europe. Equipping: We equip pastoral leaders to use the RLM pastoral programs in their ministry settings by offering the Training for Redeemed Lives, Alive Again, and Returning Sons and The School for Prayer. We have given the Training in Germany, Switzerland, England and the USA. This conference begins as a week-long intensive seminar where we cover the program material in lecture form during the day, followed by small groups in the evening. After the week is over, students then have one year to complete the written coursework which entails writing ten five-page papers and identifying 135 vocabulary terms. The School for Prayer equips pastoral caregivers through teaching and retreat to use the Alive Again and Returning Sons DVD teaching sets.
Apologetics: We engage in apologetics by giving a lecture on homosexuality from a Christian viewpoint on university and high school campuses. We ask our hosts, usually a campus ministry such as an InterVarsity chapter, to extend a special invitation to the local gay community to attend. The lecture is entitled A Christian Response To Homosexuality. In 90 minutes, Mario covers the biological studies, the psychological approaches, theological viewpoints, his testimony and forty-five minutes of lively questions and answers with the audience.
