The Blue Green Alliance released this REPP report showing the potential for a federal renewable development effort to create 850,000 manufacturing jobs. Renewable energy is is manufactured energy. According to REPP analysis, 70% of the labor required to produce wind and solar energy is in the manufacturing of the components. REPP developed the first analysis to identify the industry sectors and the location of the firms in those sectors.
