In 1995 Duncan Brett (Duncan Brett Consulting www.dbc.co.za), Arthur Mzozoyana and Charlene Davids (Roots Research), and Mark Webb (TargetLink Research) decided to share offices and resources at our first premises in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. Since then we’ve been sharing resources, ideas and working together to provide the best market research we possibly can.
2002 was a notable year, in that we launched our own custom built computer aided telephone interviewing system (CATI), and early in 2005 conducted over 1000 interviews in a single day for the first time.
In 2003 we formed The Research LampPost to enable us to provide a full suite of market research services under one entity. Altogether we have 16 full-time staff from hugely diverse backgrounds which truly reflect the South Africa we live in today.
