- Resort 2 Me began in Monterey in 1986 as a meeting planning and group reservation service. Shortly after the business began, the need for a service that would help individuals became apparent and the focus of the business gradually changed. Resort 2 Me became a sole proprietorship in 1989, owned by Gloria McPherson. We are members of the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, the Monterey Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce, the Carmel Chamber of Commerce, the Carmel Valley Chamber of Commerce, and, the owner, Gloria McPherson, sits on the board of the Monterey County Hospitality Association.
