Established in 1804, the Royal Horticultural Society is now the UK's leading gardening charity dedicated to advancing horticulture and promoting good gardening.
Our goal is to help people share a passion for plants, to encourage excellence in horticulture and inspire all those with an interest in gardening.
Support us
Horticultural science, plant trials, advisory service, education and improvements to our gardens, shows and events are at the forefront of the Society's charitable remit. But as we receive no government funding and members' subscriptions only provide around a quarter of funds needed for our charitable work, we rely on donations, legacies, sponsorship and voluntary work.

- Can't praise this society enough; their website is jam-packed with knowledge and general advice is available to non-members (advice on more complex issues is for members only). Their gardens and offers to members are impossible to beat.
