Description
Rippiratej.com was established in the summer of 2003 by Zack van Brakle. The site originally was meant to be a rememberance to his brother, Justin, who passed away of bacterial meningitis on January 18, 2003. And while the purpose is still the same, things are evolving a little. The site is now a means of artistic expression by the family and friends of Justin. Since Justin was an extremely artistic person, I figure what better way to honor him than to let his friends use a little space to artistically express themselves.
On December 21, 2004, Pit Cleveland graciously hosted the Noise Speaks Louder Than Words release party. Noise Speaks Louder than Words was a tribute album which contained music from bands that were friends and family of Justin. Much of the music was either inspired by Justin or just something that you could relate to. Deepest thanks go out to Pit Cleveland, Hillary's Revenge, Psych Ward, Ty Scheuerman, Amanda Vajskop and Creighton Bradler. You guys made the show a success.
