Grover Trask and Cindy, his wife of 32 years, have a daughter and a son. Both graduates of USC, they work in Southern California in law and commercial real estate, respectively.
Mr. Trask, who has prosecuted hundreds of criminals during his career, now directs the 4th largest office in California with 220 prosecutors and 380 support staff in nine offices throughout the county. Grover, elected to his first 4-year term in 1982, is currently serving his 6th term. His long-held vision has been to develop and maintain a professional career-oriented staff.
Under his leadership, Trask’s office has one of the strongest records of prosecuting felons in the state, according to the Attorney General’s Department of Justice most recent study. His office tops the state’s 15 largest counties with an 89% felony conviction rate.
