Hi guys, when I am not working as a systems guy I love getting into the outdoors. I play lots of different sports but my true passion is getting into the 'Great Outdoors'.
I am a keen mountain biker, treker and climber and I love to chill out by relaxing by the water with my fishing rods.
I have a great family and we all love to go camping off the beaten track. Another of my passions is writing. I have my own online blog (see below) and I also contribute to various projects around the web. My favorite current project is over at ReadyTribe.com

One post that I found particularly interesting was this one about choosing hiking boots. I was in the market for a new pair a couple of months back after my trusty 4 year old pair had finally come to the end of their life. I knew a little about what boots where available at a good price but my friend and colleague, Roger had already put that wonderful post together and it helped me make a great choice.
