Robin Place Fabrics is located in beautiful Soldotna, Alaska, home to some of the world’s best fishing and quilting. We are proud to be the home store for Mt. Redoubt Designs. Designer Letitia Hutchings lives nearby and frequents our shop to give us sneak peeks at her newest ideas. We are delighted to carry all her books and patterns plus we have kits available for her designs. You will also find patterns by local designers in our on-line store. These have been tested and loved by many of our Kenai Peninsula customers. We are a full service quilt store with everything for your quilting needs.
“Quilting on the Kenai” is the name of our annual quilt and fashion show. We are looking forward to our 12th annual gala on June 22, 23, & 24 in 2006. In 2005 we hosted over 100 wonderful quilts, 100 artistic wearables, and dolls including the Hoffman traveling doll exhibit. Our guest teachers were Stephanie Kimura and Cheryl Phillips. You'll want to check out their classes on our Quilting Classes page. Class sizes are limited.
At Robin Place Fabrics we offer an array of quilting classes, designed for beginning through advanced level quilters. Whether you’re looking for a new project or want to learn a new technique, Robin Place teachers can help. Quilting Classes at Robin Place Fabrics are announced in September and January each year and can be found on our Quilting Classes web page.
