The Directors of the Inaugural Tulsa World Route 66 Marathon would like to thank all of our sponsors and volunteers for making our event one of the most successful inaugural marathons ever. Together we raised thousands of dollars for The Tulsa Area United Way and showed an international field of 3,000 athletes that Tulsa knows how to put on a world class event. Thanks to you, the cities of Tulsa and Jenks now have an internationally recognized marathon to call their own. We look forward to next year's event which will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2007, and will include a Quarter Marathon and Kid's Marathon in addition to the Full Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Relay.
