A few years ago, an Alzheimer's parent under my care quietly wandered out of sight, becoming lost. I sought assistance to locate my loved one, and what followed was an hours-long search which to this day remains one of the most difficult experiences of my life. To my amazement, no programs exist that deal with the quick recovery of a senior adult or child who quietly wanders from sight. This experience caused me great panic and emotional stress.
