Sahyadrisindia is an organization formed by a group of like-minded nature enthusiasts and ardent trekkers, in an ongoing quest to protect the rich environmental legacy of Western Ghats. We aim to serve the basic needs of school children studying in various under developed areas of our state- Karnataka. This specific area development programme is an initiative to uplift the schooling standards of these regions. Awareness campaigns, seminars, nature camps/tours will be used to educate students/youths/teachers. Through your participation and our constant endeavour the school children in these regions will thus be provided with basic study infrastructure for their improvement. Eco Tours - Sahyadrisindia aims to conduct nature camps for schools and colleges across Karnataka to make them aware of the richness of the dense flora and fauna that the Western Ghats region offers.
These enchanting plush velvety greens and earthy wooden charms of the region are sure to strike a chord in their hearts to last a lifetime. This early nature gonging experience can help inculcate seeds of responsibility towards nature and an urge to passionately protect it for their future generation.
