1. It is difficult to find the price of an outpatient procedure, such as an injection or infusion of a specified medication.
A Saint Barnabas physician recommended that I get one of two procedures, J3490 and J3488. Among other considerations, I want to compare prices; before buying something expensive it is usual to ask the price! The physician didn't know where I can find the prices; the Infusion Center, which carries out such procedures, doesn't know either. I called the Billing office and they don't know. I tried other offices. None of them are able to direct me to the right place to find out.
