Destination Salem is the Office of Tourism & Cultural Affairs for Salem, Massachusetts. It is a non-profit, public-private, membership-based organization. Destination Salem has twenty-seven members, including the City of Salem and the Peabody Essex Museum. To see a complete list of members, click here.
In addition to producing this Web site, Destination Salem produces the annual Salem , Massachusetts Official Guidebook & maps , the Salem , Massachusetts Rack Brochures , the Motor Coach maps & Guide , and maintains the calendar of special events found on this Web site. We also work cooperatively within the North of Boston Region to create Brochures like The Salem Crescent Architectural Trail with Marblehead and Beverly. We are currently working on the Official Guide to Salem Haunted Happenings - America's Halloween Festival .
In addition to working with its member businesses, Destination Salem also supports and works with the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism, the North of Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau and the National Tour Association to promote Salem as America's Bewitching Seaport and a great place to visit.
