Sandy Collins is a Registered Nurse, a Certified Advanced Rolfer, and an Integrative Wellness Coach and Consultant. Sandy attended the University of Texas at Austin and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1975. She worked as a nurse at Brackenridge Hospital for 18 years in the Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care Units. Her specialty in nursing was post-operative recovery for Cardiac By Pass Surgery and Trauma Recovery.
Sandy completed her training at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado, in 1991 to become a Certified Rolfer. She received her Advanced Rolfing certification in the spring of 1999.
Sandy has a particular interest in the effects of acute and chronic trauma, and has trained with various people in the field of Somatic Traumatology.
