- About Sassy Baubles
- I developed a love of beads and creating beaded jewelry immediately after my first jewelry making class. Soon people were admiring what I was wearing and asked about purchasing things I made. I was fortunate in being able to showcase my work at a couple of retail stores in New York City. We all know the availability of inexpensive costume jewelry that is mass produced in countries with horrible working conditions. It was a thrill and a surprise to realize that many people value hand-crafted jewelry and want to buy directly from the person who creates it. When asked about a portfolio of my work, I decided a website would be the easiest way to show my jewelry.
