Description
The Sautee-Nacoochee Community Association is a non-profit community organization based in the Sautee and Nacoochee Valleys of the North Georgia mountains. The SNCA is dedicated to environmental protection, historic preservation, and the arts -- contemporary folk music, community theatre, local arts and crafts, and more. The Association maintains a thriving Arts and Community Center, offering a Theatre, Art Gallery, History Museum, Environmental Studies Room, and conference facilities. The Center is the venue for the Evening Star Music Series, a monthly series of contemporary folk music concerts, and the ECHOTA Performing Arts Festival, an annual summer festival featuring our own dramatic productions, staged readings of original scripts, a fringe festival of performing artists invited from around the Southeast, and a visual arts exhibition. Only five miles from Helen, Georgia.
