Before moving to Asheville, I was a motion picture and television commercial producer in Los Angeles for 19 years. In 1995, my wife Heidi moved to Asheville with hopes of finding a community where we could raise a family. When our daughter, Jordan, was born in 1999, life's priorities became even more apparent. I decided to stop traveling the world to stay in Asheville with my family.
I've always wanted to have my own restaurant to share my passion for food, wine and people with my friends and the community. After meeting Savoy's former owner, Alan Laibson, I knew his location could bring life to my vision.
