- Welcome! Scents N Such is a small store front business located in the midst of the beautiful Appalachian mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Scents N Such began as a small home based business ran by myself, Senta Jenkins. I started small, making hand poured soy candles for myself and others close to me right out of my home. As time passed, people grew to love my candles, and I offered special deals to churches and schools for fundraising opportunities. A few years into the business, I joined a partnership with Meridzo Ministries, a mission based organization in Lynch, Ky. We began with a candle making factory located at Solomon’s porch in Lynch, Ky. In October, 2005 we moved the candle factory to a storefront location in Cumberland so that local folks could purchase our products. We want to thank everyone that helped to set up this store, we has several churches and local people work together to make this possible. Now that we are pleasantly settled in our little country store, we offer a larger variety of products, and a various range of scents. We are currently hand making soaps, goat’s milk lotions, candles, tarts, cubes, crumbles, potpourri, and we are always looking to expand our product line! Along with the many hand made fixin’s, we also offer many home décor items that any lover of the country will be sure to appreciate. We are here to make you feel right at home in the country, so sit back, relax and enjoy!
