Tens of thousands of students move through the school district on a yearly basis, all with one thing in common: teachers, guiding them along the path.The Plano ISD celebrated those teachers who inspired the most from their students at the Teacher of the Year Gala May 13 at the Plano Centre. Two Teacher of the Year honorees were selected from 69 nominees and two New Teachers of the Year were selected from 52 nominees. All nominees were recommended by their peers.
