- St. Damian’s was the first school to be blessed and officially opened in 1970 by His Grace Dr. Dermot Ryan, the late Archbishop of Dublin. St. Damian’s School is situated on the fringe of Crumlin Parish, adjacent to Perrystown, Greenhills and Walkinstown. Originally built as separate boys and girls national school, albeit sharing a common site and common administration block, the current St. Damian’s mixed school is an amalgamation, effected in September 1989, of the previously separate schools. It is a vertical school, Junior Infants to Sixth Class, of approximately 250 pupils.
