Mr. Dormer was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended and graduated from Loyola High School, Loyola Marymount University and Loyola Law School. He received a Bacheolor's of Business Degree from Loyola Marymount University and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School. While at Loyola Law School he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Appellate Advocacy. He passed the California Bar on his first attempt and was sworn in as a California attorney in 1991.

Since his admission to the California Bar, Mr. Dormer has successfully litigated cases at the administrative, trial and appellate levels. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Over the years he has obtained millions of dollars for his clients.
